1. Pre-Application & Orientation

Initial Orientation & Approval
Home Study Referral

2 – 4. Dossier Preparation

Collecting and compiling the necessary documents for submission to the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice.

5 & 6. The Matching Process

Identifying a referral that aligns with your family profile and the child's needs.

Final Stage

7 & 8. Travel & Homecoming

Two trips to Bulgaria. The first to meet your child, and the second to finalize legalities and bring your son or daughter home. We provide full in-country support during both visits.

Parental Eligibility Requirements

Bulgaria welcomes single parents and couples alike.

Age

To adopt from Bulgaria, applicants must be at least 25 years old. There must be a minimum age difference of 15 years between parent and child, and the youngest parent must be within 50 years of the child’s age.
